My Bangkok Trip Part 2
Day 2
After the morning breakfast at the hotel, we went to find our tailor shops. Before we come to BKK, we did a little research and find out that there's a few tailor shops near Nana BTS station. We took the BTS which is only 5mins walk from the hotel to Nana. We made our shirts at a tailor shop called Armani. Both service and quality are good. They can make the shirts within 12 hours and deliver to your hotel. In the noon we went to MBK, where i was surprise to see Auntie Lucy aka 周崇庆. Too bad it happened so sudden that i forgot to take picture with him.
Day 3
Went to Siam Paragon to experience Thailand cinema. While we were checking out what movies they are showing, i spotted my poly frenz. What a small world, he was with his GF here to watch 2012. In order not to disturb the lovely dovey couple, we went to Central World to watch our movie. Central World cinema offered big comfortable seats and the back support is rockable. FYI watching movies in Thailand, need to pay respect for the Thai King by standing up when the cinema show a clip of the Thai king before showing the actual movie.
Day 4
Finally our last day in BBK, we went to MBK to do some last min shopping due to early noon flight. I managed to hoot a pair of shoes while the rest were buying local product snack. Lucky there was no flight delayed back to SG, we reached SG at 1730. Home Sweet Home.

My Bangkok Trip Part 1
Sawadee Khrap means Hello also good evening, goodbye, and even good-night. Men end a sentence with khrap; women with kha. The Bangkok (BKK) trip came in just nice after my exam although was a little bit last min decided. I went with my frenz and 2 of his frenz which i only know them on that day. The last time i went Bangkok something went terribly wrong. There was 6 of us but only 3 managed to make it on the plane. Anyway my 2nd time to BKK wasn't that bad LOL, the flight got re-timed to 2 hrs later. Suay sia!!! So weird Jetstar announced it as re-timed rather than delayed. To make it sound nicer ar? The Jetstar counter customer service crew was not helping as well when we asked her why our flight got re-timed. She murmured the plane was late, OMG of course we know that. Never mind it's budget flight so LL.
We reached our Hotel at 4pm, BKK is 1 hr later than our SG time and 2 to 4 degree celsius warmer. So hot and humid that once you are not in air-con places, you will perspire within 10mins. The name of the hotel is Yado@Thonglor, located at Sukhumvit road aka little japan area. It is very near to BTS Thong Lo station, convenient for us to go Siam Paragon or MBK in less than 6 stops. 1000 baht per nite + free breakfast flight got re-timed and we were waiting for 1 of our , Cheap rite? It cost me ard 21 SGD or 500 baht per nite since i'm sharing 1 room with my frenz. We didn't get to travel ard on 1st day becosfrenz's relative to collect some things and money. In the end we had our dinner in the hotel's restaurant which served very OISHI garlic rice. Very authentic Japanese style cooking where all the customers ard us were Japs.

Exams are over!!
Yesterday i had 2 exam papers in a day. It was my 1st time in UniSim to take 2 papers in the same day as well as my 1st open book exam papers. Open book exam sounds easy rite? You are WRONG!! Both are 2 hours papers and they are on Database System. I brought a textbook and a bunch of notes in to help me with the exams. The papers were quite intensive that some students barely got enough time to finish it. In fact for my 1st paper i did not even flip my textbook for answers.
Time management is very important in both papers. If one take too much time searching for answers from the textbook or notes, he or she would not have enough time to finish. Luckily i was warned by my senpai (Japanese word meaning Senior). He said open book exam means harder questions and it's best to take time revising it. So last week i spent a few days studying with my school mates in T3 Airport. LOL my 1st visit to T3 is actually to study for exam.
The group study helped alot in my papers, i'm glad i spent time revising it and not taking it easy just because it's an open book exam. Well are exams over now, next bangkok trip followed by Job hunting when i'm back..
